DGJ Tile & Marble

Privacy Policy

Last updated August 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how D GJ Tile & Marble LLC ("DGJ Tile & Marble," "DGJ," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information from visitors to dgj-tile-installation.com (the "Site") and from homeowners who request an estimate or hire us for tile and marble installation work in Metro Detroit. If you have questions about this policy, contact us using the information at the bottom of this page.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly

When you submit the estimate request form on this Site, we collect:

  • Your full name
  • Your phone number
  • The service you're inquiring about (kitchen tile, kitchen backsplash, bathroom tile, shower, bathtub surround, master bathroom, or fireplace)
  • Your ZIP code

The form doesn't ask for your email address or home address. If you call or text us directly, or share that information with us over the phone or during an in-person estimate, we keep whatever you choose to tell us in that conversation. The form also includes a hidden field designed to catch automated spam submissions — it doesn't collect anything from real visitors and exists only to filter out bots.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the Site, some information is collected automatically:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and general location at the city or region level
  • Pages viewed, time spent on the Site, and the site or search engine that referred you
  • Standard technical logs kept by our hosting and content-delivery provider, Cloudflare, for security and performance purposes

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site — which pages get viewed, how people move between them, and which marketing channels actually bring people here. We also use Google Ads, including remarketing, to show ads to people who've previously visited the Site as they browse other websites. Both tools use cookies and similar technologies placed by Google, not by us directly.

Why we collect it

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to your estimate request and schedule an in-person visit
  • Communicate with you about your project, from the first call through job completion
  • Understand which pages and marketing channels are actually working, so advertising budget goes toward what brings real customers instead of guesswork
  • Show relevant ads to people who've shown interest in tile or marble work, through Google Ads remarketing
  • Keep basic business, tax, and insurance records related to work we've performed

Cookies & advertising

Google Analytics and Google Ads both use cookies to recognize your browser across visits. That lets us see aggregate patterns — like which pages lead to the most estimate requests — and lets Google show you a DGJ ad if you've visited this Site before.

You can control or opt out of this:

  • Turn off Google Ads personalization at Google Ads Settings
  • Opt out of Google Analytics tracking with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser's privacy settings — the Site itself still works without cookies, though the form's spam protection may behave differently

We don't use cookies to track you across unrelated websites beyond what Google's advertising products do on their own.

Phone calls

The phone number on this Site is a single, fixed number — it doesn't change based on how you found us, and calls to it aren't recorded. If that changes in the future — for example, if we start using call-tracking software to measure which ads or pages generate calls — we'll update this policy, and any recorded line will say so out loud before the call connects.

How long we keep information

{{PLACEHOLDER: data retention period for form submissions and customer records}}

In general, we don't keep information longer than we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or longer than we're required to for tax and legal recordkeeping.

Who we share information with

We don't sell your personal information, and we never have. We share it only with a small number of service providers who help us run the Site and the business:

  • Cloudflare — hosts the Site and provides security and performance infrastructure
  • Web3Forms — delivers estimate request form submissions to us by email
  • Google — Analytics, Ads, and our Google Business Profile listing

These providers only receive what they need to do their job and aren't authorized to use it for their own purposes.

Your privacy rights

If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you the right to know what personal information we've collected about you, request deletion, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We don't sell information, but some advertising cookies can legally count as "sharing" under CPRA — you can opt out using the methods described above.

Michigan doesn't currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy law, but we'll honor a reasonable request from any visitor to know what information we have on file or to have it deleted. Contact us using the information below to make a request.

Children's privacy

This Site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, including relying on Cloudflare's security infrastructure for the Site itself. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site, our tools, or the law change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
