Estimates
An estimate from DGJ Tile & Marble, whether given over the phone, through the Site's form, or in person, is our best assessment of cost based on what's visible at the time it's given. Estimates are not binding contracts and don't obligate either party until both sides sign a written agreement.

Prices can change after that window, and they can also change once work begins if something is discovered that wasn't visible during the estimate — most commonly subfloor damage, plumbing issues, or wall condition uncovered once demo starts. When that happens, we'll explain what was found and get your approval on any price change before continuing that portion of the work.

Warranty

Any workmanship warranty we provide covers defects in our installation labor. It does not cover material defects, which are the tile or stone manufacturer's responsibility, nor does it cover damage caused by normal wear, improper cleaning products, structural movement in the home, or work performed or altered by anyone other than DGJ Tile & Marble after installation. Full written warranty terms are provided with your signed agreement.
Payment

Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Michigan law, DGJ Tile & Marble's liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific work at issue. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use of your home during a project, except where that limitation isn't allowed by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Macomb County, Michigan.
Project photos & intellectual property
We often photograph our work before, during, and after a project for our own records and portfolio. Unless you tell us in writing that you'd prefer we not use photos of your project publicly, we may use them on this Site, on our Google Business Profile, in advertising, and on social media. We don't publish your address or other identifying information alongside project photos. Text, photos, and design elements on this Site belong to DGJ Tile & Marble or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Third-party links
This Site may link to third-party sites, such as our Google Business Profile. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
